New Affiliation Agreement in New York Brings the Network’s Reach to nearly 6.5 Million Households
Ongoing Demand for Mega TV’s Popular Spanish-Language Content Ahead of New Launches
Miami, FL – (February 4, 2010) – Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ:SBSA) announced today that Mega TV, the ground-breaking emerging Latino TV network, is expanding in New York, the number 2 Hispanic market in the United States. Beginning in March, Mega TV will be available on WRNN Channel 48.2, on Time Warner Cable Channel 92 and Verizon Fios Channel 466. SBS has signed with Rise Television which owns and operates WRNN Channel 48, in the deal Mega TV will run the sales operation.
Mega TV is nationally distributed through DirecTV Más, and in addition to New York, recently signed affiliation agreements in the key Hispanic markets of Chicago, Dallas, Fresno and Palm Springs, taking the networks reach to nearly 6.5 million households and covering 30 percent of the Hispanic market.

All the affiliated stations will transmit Mega TV’s critically acclaimed programming including, “Paparazzi TV Sensacional,” “Maria Elvira Live,” “Esta Noche Tu Night,” “Los Implicados,” and “Mega News,” among others.
