Just like the rest of the world, I've been having to do more with less as the economy suffers and in particular, media outlets like mine are trying their best to stay above water. It's been hard, but I am optimistic we can weather the storm

Before CNN en Español, Maria worked as the NY correspondent and Bureau Manager for SBS Broadcasting's Mega TV. She also worked as a producer and assignment editor for Telemundo WNJU in New York. Maria is a Graduate of Wesleyan University, and an Alumnus of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting program.
